Abstract

Previously we have synthesized allene derivatives 1, 2, 3 and 4 with two 1-pyrenyl groups on the 1, 3 position of allene and determined their structures by X-ray crystal structure analyses. In this time we wish to report the structures and properties of charge transfer complexes of 1, 2, 3 and 4 and TCNQ, TCNE, DDQ or TCNQ-F₄ as acceptor molecules.
