Abstract

In this paper, Web−based Training(i. e. WBT)has been developed on Saint−Venant torsion analysis of the solid bar with cross section (round, elliptical or equilateral triangle shape).Developed WBT had been composed of 3 kinds of teaching material that involved textbook, problem practice and Web 3 D, and it devised the system that can mutually cooperate. These teaching material can learn the a series of course until it calculates the characteristic of deformation and stress distribution in cross section by some definitions of complex analytic function which satisfies boundary condition of each cross section. In addition, the possibility of the engineering education has been examined by the execution for grasping the evaluation for the teaching material developed from the viewpoint of third party of the questionnaire through the Web server.
