Abstract
A new stress relaxation measurement system was built. Stress relaxation of polyamideimide (PAI) was measured by two microcomputer processing systems. One of them (System-1) used a Logtimer, supplied by the courtesy of Japan Synthetic Rubber Co. The stress data was digitized and memorized in the Logtimer automatically. The other (System-2) was directly carried out by a microcomputer, Nippon electric Co. PC-8801, through an A/D converter. System-1 can measure exactly the stress relaxation in short timescale regions. System-2 can easily process a large number of stress relaxation measurements.
