Abstract

The modern environment surrounding children has changed greatly, so there seems many kinds of challenges in child education. Life-style became very convenient nowadays, that leaves children not only walk less but also get less exercise using whole body parts. Children tend to play without getting chances to play actively. These decrease of children’s exercise influences their development of talent, ability and motivation largely. It even weaken their interest in playing sports in their future during school age and adolescence. It also weaken their communication ability and personal relations. To improve such condition, it is important and indispensable for teachers to support children warmly and support them to play actively by their own initiative. This thesis introduces children’s physical and mental development by showing several cases for preparing kindergarten athletic day, led by teachers’ approach to their environment.
