Two imported hymenopteran parasites, Diglyphus isaea and Dacnusa sibirica, were released on four occasions as biological control agents against serpentine leafminers, Liriomyza trifolii, infecting greenhouse tomato plants. Although high rates of parasitism were subsequently observed, most resulted from indigenous hymenopterans rather than the imported species.
