Foreign Bodies in the Extremities, treated in our Department of Orthopaedic Surgery ; A Report of 6 Cases

Abstract

Foreign bodies in the extremities are not so rare, and usually, concerning to their diagnosis, it is easy in many cases. But sometimes it seems difficult to remove them. We have treated 14 cases of foreign bodies from 1971 to September, 1975 and reported on 6 cases of them. So we attempted a review of the literature about sex, age, removal, reaction of bone and so on.
