On September 29th, 1961, I observed an unidirectional serial flight of Lampides boeticus in downtown Tokyo. From 2.45 to 3. 5 p.m., 66 blues were counted flying SE-NW in a constant stream across 30 metre front. Weather fine, wind easterly, temperature 29℃, humidity 47%.
