Some micromoths were collected in the subalpine zones of Mt. Nokogiri-dake (alt. about 2,560 m) and Mt. Kai-Komaga-take (alt. about 2,580 m) in the northern Akaishi Mountains, Yamanashi Pref., Japan, in July. Sixteen species of six moth families were recognized: Adelidae: Nemophora ochsenheimerella, Incurvariidae: Phylloporia bistrigella, Roeslerstammiidae: Roeslerstammia erxlebella, Yponomeutidae: Argyresthia conjugella, Gelechiidae: Chionodes sp. nr. soella, Tortricidae: Lozotaenia kumatai, Clepsis jinboi, Acleris comariana, Acleris sp., Apotomis vigens, Epinotia piceae, Epinotia pinicola, Rhopobota ilexi, Fibuloides aestuosa, Matsumuraeses sp., Grapholita tenebrosana. Apotomis vigens was recorded from Honshu for the first time.
