Abstract
This study is aimed at how well speaking anxiety can be reduced through skit study in English. A Skit is a short play performed by two students, who are expected to learn basic English speaking skills by acting out their skit in front of other students in this class. In this study a questionnaire about English speaking anxiety was administered before and after a series of skit study activities. They also provided opinions on what they learned and felt after students’ skit performance. As a result of the data analysis, students’ English speaking anxiety decreased and their English learning was enhanced through skit activities.
