Abstract
Is logistics in the world evolving on an integrated single form of paradigm, or will a different logistics continue to take place in a different region? This paper is intended to give clue to find an answer to the question. As a result of the numerous interviews with companies and public institutions, general differences were found in the propensity of logistics management towards structural issues in Europe and operational issues Japan; and in the degree of customer services, too little in Europe and too much in Japan. To face up to these differences and try to merge the strong points of Japanese management method with European logistics will contribute to establishing a common paradigm shared on a global scale.
