Ultrafast semiconductor circuits related to the electro-optic sampling technique have been reviewed. The circuits are about very short pulse lasers, cross-talk in circiuts, THz transtmission lines, bending effects of transmission lines, THz radiation into the air, modulators and ultrafast detectors. The state-of-the-art of the electro-optic sampling technique and its problems are given.
