Self–assembled surfactant aggregates, such as micelles and vesicles, have been investigated for their application, such as a drug carrier. These aggregates have individual properties, which are dependent on the chemical structure of surfactants, formation of aggregates, etc., and these properties are evaluated by various kinds of evaluation methods. It is important to systematically understand these properties, and to compile a database of aggregates. This database helps to design or choose an optimal aggregate to apply as a drug carrier.
