Abstract
During a mosquito collection, three individuals of the adult female Haemaphysalis longicornis (Acari: Ixodidae) were collected by suction traps with dry ices in Toyama and Himi cities, Toyama Prefecture, Honshu, Japan. The ticks seem to be attracted to CO2 administered by traps.
