One gynandromorph of Aedes (Stegomyia) albopictus (Diptera: Culicidae) was found in Japan. This individual has 2 female antennae, the palpups of the left side is male type and palpus of right side is female. The genitalia are male type. To our knowledge, this is the first report of a gynandromorph of Aedes albopictus from Japan.
