National Nanotechnology Strategic Framework and Nanoparticle Technology in Thailand

Abstract

The setup of National Nanotechnology Center (NANOTEC) was endorsed by the Thai Cabinet on August 13, 2003. One of NANOTEC’s initial urgent tasks was the preparation of the National Strategic Framework in Nanotechnology. The task and framework were in line with the National Strategic Framework in Science and Technology approved by the Cabinet in 2004. What follows is an overview of the recent status and progress of nanoparticle technology and a brief introduction of the Nanotechnology Framework in Thailand.
