Polyester (PET) Solid-State Polymerization System

Abstract

Polyethylene terephthalate (PET), known as a raw material for PET bottles, has recently been used for other applications. Solid-state polymerization (SSP) is often required to obtain final product quality. As a pioneer of PET SSP facilities in Japan, we present an overview of this process.
