A third artificial intelligence（AI）boom has been generated, and remarkable AI movement has come to be noted even in the medical diagnostic imaging area. In this review article, we focus on AI in the medical imaging area, in particular, the trend of recent development and practical application of “computer-aided diagnosis（CAD）” using deep learning technology（AI-CAD）, and the future predictions will be discussed at the end.
