Prevention of N-methylnitrosourea-induced colon carcinogenesis by Meripilus giganteus in rats

Abstract

This study was examined the inhibitory effect of Meripilus giganteus on colon carcinogenesis by using the rats in an animal model. As a result, the powder of dried Meripilus giganteus inhibited the development of N-methylnitrosourea-induced colonic aberrant crypto foci, slightly prevented colon carcinogenesis.
