Abstract
We succeeded in isolating and identifying anti-<i>Helicobacter pylori</i> and anti-<i>Campylobacter jejuni</i> compounds from ethyl acetate extract made from <i>Daedalea diknisii</i> culture solution. Anti-H. pylori compounds were identified as (R)-(6-hydroxy-2-methyl-2H-chromene-2-yl)methyl acetate 1, daedalin A 3, and its deoxy analog 2. Compound 1 was isolated for the first time as a natural product. 2,3-Dimethoxybenzene-1,4-diol was also isolated and identified as an anti-<i>H. pylori</i> and anti-<i>C. jejuni</i> compound.
