Abstract
Each one strain of 12 species of molds exhibiting cytotoxicity of C (colchicineeffect) and M (multinucleation) types to HeLa cells in the previous works were reinvestigated by the same method. Three strains, i.e. Phomopsis sp. Diaporthe phaseolorum, and Pithomyces sacchari, exhibited the M-type toxicity. One of them, Phomopsis sp., was proved to produce six kinds of cytochalasin H and J derivatives.
