The purpose of this paper is to analyze the reorganization of regional agriculture with core farmer’s participation through the experiences of Semine district in Kurihara city, Miyagi prefecture, and to clarify the condition to make it effective. The clarified conditions are as follows.
Firstly, it is necessary for core farmers, local government and agricultural cooperative to trust each other, and take communications.
Secondly, it is essential to act their parts. Staffs of local government and agricultural cooperative must be devoted to core farmer’s support, for example, giving information, hearing from core farmers and making a tentative proposal for promoting regional agriculture. On the other hand, core farmers must discuss the proposal in the official meeting responsibly, and shape the program for promoting regional agriculture.
