Abstract
Many curing agents have been known for the curing of epoxy resins. In these curing agents, polymerization catalyst type curing agents such as borontrifluoride-amine complexes, imidazoles, etc. are important for latent curing, ultraviolet irradiate curing and so on.
Since epoxy resins are cured to polymerize both cationically and anionically, curing mechanisms of epoxy resins with catalyst type curing agents are very complexes, and many of them are not understood fully.
This is reviewed to the recent studies of them.
