Abstract
First 15 papers of the H.v. Euler school on “the formation of phenol-formaldehyde resins” are listed up and then 14 papers of them are abstracted, being divided into six chapters (the 15th paper will be abstracted in the next issue). By heating pure phenol-alcohols as “a model of resol”, the school confirmed the formation of chinonmethide polymer, beside that of dimethylenether- and methylene-bridges. The present author thinks that it is a very excellent research established during very short period.
