The steady-state and transient critical heat fluxes (CHFs) were measured on a small horizontal vertically oriented platinum ribbon (4.0 mm x 0.1 mm) due to exponentially increasing heat inputs in a pool of saturated FC-72. The steady-state CHFs agree with the corresponding values obtained from Kutateladze's correlation with the effect of the dimensionless height of the finite heater. The typical of CHFs were also derived and presented for exponential periods ranged from 10 ms up to 20 s and seem to have lower increasing rates than ones obtained from other finite bodies such a small horizontal cylinder.
