抄録
Textbooks are printed books; therefore, advances in printing and bookbinding techniques have improved the appearance and design of them. In addition, contents learned in school have greatly changed over a long period of time and assistive materials and the measures of presentation have also been updated. In spite of an increasing share of digital textbooks, paper textbooks will remain in the mainstream of learning. In the future, both paper and digital textbooks will be further developed and used to pursue an improved understanding of students by collaboration and mutual complement.
