Abstract

Japan Printing Academy (JPA) is a vocational school for printing expertise and was established 39 years ago. At the time of establishment, approximately 100 students were affiliated with JPA. I was informed only three years ago of a sudden decrease in the number of students over the past dozen years or so. This was the initiation of my involvement in JPA. Now, in the third year of my principal career, "ownership synchronized with the change of the times" is the main theme in our curriculum motivated by the aim at fostering the next generations of printing companies together with experienced and new staff members. This article introduces our successor education, output-emphasized educational method, and printing technology education with practices.
