Introduction

Abstract

It became increasingly important to get color images with good quality for various printings, such as inkjet printing, thermal printing and also conventional printing, from TV pictures or CRT pictures generated by computer. In order to get good quality images, it is important to evaluate and analyze the images, and it is necessary to reflect those obtained resulte for image designing. Starting from the basic interprelations on the image analysis and evaluation, in the series, practical applications of these fields will be also presented. At the beginning, in this paper, the outline of the image analysis and evaluation is described.
