新教育課程における古典教育 : その問題点を考える

As a result of improvement and a notice of the teaching gist in senior high school,a new course of study is going to be enforced from fifty-seventh year. Some points should be evaluated and others should not. One of the problems is a remarkable tendency to decrease credits of classics, because pragmatic idea overwhelmed the education of classic literature. But we should make up the deficit by the means of selection of teaching materials and instruction in class. According to present laws of education, schoolbooks compiled by the government ought to be used in class. On the process of compilation of a new text of Japanese I, we should have some difficulties and especially in the case of classics we must choose materials to touch students' heart and to stimulate them to further study.
