Each of these writers of three different generations has his own conception of time. Kan-ami's consciousness of time is a simple, earthly one, while Zeami uses a dynamic time which sometimes traces back to the origin of the story. And the structure of Zenchiku's concept of time transcends above the world. I've attempted to discuss the structure of time and space in Noh by analyzing "Izutsu"(by Zeami), "Teika"(by Zenchiku) and "Noro"(author unknown), and by referring to the Noh theories of these authors as well.
