Abstract
To know a part of changes of regional lymph nodes in contact dermatitis, we performed the following experiments. Experimental animals; Albino guinea pigs weighing 350 to 450g. Sensitization; Guinea pigs were sensitized by applying 3% 1-chloro-2,4-dinitrobenzene ethanol solution on the inguinal region. 8gtt. on the 1st day and then the dosis were increased by one drop every day to reach 15gtt. after seven days. The inguinal lymph nodes of these guinea pigs were exstirpated at varied time up to 36th day. The weight, content of RNA-P and DNA-P and histological changes of these nodes were examined. The weight of these nodes gradually increased, arriving at maximum on 13th day. The increase in nucleic acids were found to parallel to the increase in weight of the nodes. Slightly higher increasing rate of RNA-P than DNA-P was seen on 4th to 8th days. Methylgreen-pyronine stained sections of the nodes revealed the increase of the large pyroninophilic cells at that ti me. Pasive transfer was also tried with the nodes.
