A Case of Storifortn Neurofibroma

Abstract

Storiform neurofibroma which developed on the back of a 23 year-old male has been reported. The growth of the tumor was slow but continuous and no malignancy was observed. The tumor was excised completely without showing any sign of recurrence afterwards. The characteristic matting-like structure and the presence of melanin in the cytoplasm of the tumor cells suggest that the tumor belongs to melanotic type.
