The incidence of trauma in kindergarten children was investigated three times from November, 1982 to April, 1983. Sixty-four percent of the trauma was on the face, 15% on the lower extremities, 12% on the upper extremities and 9% on the trunk. Thus, the predilection site of sporotrichosis in young children seems to be restricted to the face.
