Abstract
An 11-year-old boy with an erythematous infiltrated hairloss plaque on the middle of the forehead was treated. Biopsy from the lesion revealed cystic change and a mucoid substance in the pilosebaceous apparatus. Seventy-nine cases reported in literature in Japan were reviewed and clinical features were discussed.
