Abstract
A 12-year-old boy was treated with a preparation including Visderm ointment for eczematous dermatitis on the perioral portion. After one month, there was an exacerbation featuring swelling erythema and papulae with itching on the face. Patch tests on the topical preparations used were positive for Visderm ointment, and amcinonide, the principal ingredient of Visderm ointment was positive for each concentration of 1.0, 0.1, 0.05, 0.01 %.
