Six cases of distal tibial fracture were treated surgically using two plates. They were classified into C1 (2 cases), C2 (2 cases), C3 (one case) and pseudoarthrosis (one case) according to the AO classification.
In all cases, bone union was achieved, and satisfactory results were obtained.
This method is useful for distal tibial fractures with comminuted anterior wall.
