A male, aged 37 years, suffered from giant cell tumor of the right humeral head was treated with prosthetic arthroplasty. A tumorous part of the humerus was as completely as possible resected, after that it was replaced by artificial humeral head made from acry-resin. The musculotendinous cuff cut off in this procedure was tightly sewed in a mass on the inside of the deltoid muscle, and the simultaneously loosed long tendon of the biceps muscle was located into a tunnel of the humeral head (artificial) as well as Nicola's operation in recurrent dislocation of the shoulder joint.
In six months after the operation, functional disturbance of the right shoulder joint was lightly recognized only in abduction and internal rotation.
