Isolated simple fracture of the coracoid process is seen infrequently. Recently we had a case of the injury. A house wife slipped while carrying a one old child and slipped down a flight of six steps. She arrived at her right shoulder with the child uninjured in her arms. She was suffering pain in the right shoulder. She was treated by internal fixiation and her shoulder with good movement was free from pain. We reported that adequate roentgenograms, including an axillary view, were an essential part of routine shoulder evaluation.
