関節手術における感染対策について

抄録

Local perfusion of prophylactic antibiotics was performed for about one hour immediately after the joint surgery, especially in total hip replacement, in order to elevate the antibiotic concentration in postoperative hematoma.
After this perfusion, continual suction of hematoma was performed for about 2 days.
Antibiotic concentration in the blood sucked out from the operated wound was very high at least five hours after the end of the perfusion.
So, it is considered that the bacteriostatic or bacteriocydal effect of this procedure is remarkable.
