Middle term results, over 5 years after surgery, were reported in 15 hips operated with K. Y. M. rotation type total hip prosthesis.
Ten hips showed excellent results; painless gait, normal range of motions and good activities of daily living.
Troubles had occured in 5 hips; fractures of the femur by traffic accident in 3 hips, wear of H. D. P. head in 1 hip and cup loosening in 1 hip.
Revision operation had been done to 3 hips; 2 cases of traumatic fracture and 1 case of wear of H. D. P. head.
