Three cases of fracture of the coracoid process associated with acromioclavicular dislocation were reported, furthermore two of them were combined with fracture of the superior border of the scapula. One of them was treated with transfixation of acromioclavicular separation and internal fixation of coracoid process, another one with transfixation of acromiclavicular separation only, and last one with conservative measures.
From these results, it was thought that fixation of coracoid process is necessary for the patient to obtain early recovery.
