We operated on 21 cases in old age (above 65 years) with low back pain and leg pain.
The results of surgical treatment were almost good, but 5 cases of them showed fair results. We discussed about 5 cases of them. They had scoliosis or instability in lumbar spine before operation. We think it better to add spinal fusion for them.
