We administrered EHDP for ectopic ossification associated with spinal injury. Inflammation was improved in all thirteen cases. Limitation of joint ROM was decreased in six cases. Alkalinephosphatase was reduced in six cases whose value of it was higher than 20 Units. Radiographically, in one case, ectopic ossification was reduced but there was no change in twelve cases. In two cases, the side effect was malaise of stomach and delayed union occurred in two cases but we did not recognize that phenomenon by adverse effect of EHDP.
