高齢者大腿骨頸部内側骨折に対する人工骨頭置換術の適応の拡大について

抄録

The OMNIFIT prosthesis has been used in the last three years in our clinic for 16 elderly patients with fractures of the intracapsular femoral neck.
This prosthesis designed to fit intramedullary in three dimentions provided a good stability.
All patients returned to activity and avoided complications because of immediate weight bearing.
For the elderly patients with a limited life expectancy, it seems just important to gain a immediate return to activity without a fear of unpredictable avascular necrosis or nonunion in case of internal fixation.
We recommend prosthetic replacement for fresh fractures of the femoral neck of elderly patients for that reason.
