We engaged in experimental study modeled by Lundborg's studies in which he investigated the healing process of rabbit flexor tendon in synovial pouch of the knee joint. We studied the sutured tendons histologically which were placed in the rabbit knee joint and taken out after four five and six weeks. Adhesion of the sutured tendon to the synovial membrane was formed in strong granulation about the suturedsite but nonadhesive tendon was formed in weak granulation. We confirmed the intrinsic healing of tendon from this study.
