We reviewed the results of 35 hip arthrographies for patients with cerebralpalsy. The mean age at hip arthrography was five years and three months. The average duration of follow-up was 27.6 months. In all cases, iliopsoas intramuscular tenotomy, adductor muscles release, and humstrigs elongation were performed.
In hip arthrography, inverted limbus was recognized in one case, whose postoperative results were poor. The pattern of limbus and ligamentum teres, and the width of medial pooling did not show the differences in the postoperative acetabular head index (AHI) and center edge angle (CE angle). The postoperative results were good when the depth of acetabulum was more than 35%.
