Abstract
This study elucidated the relationship between grades allocated on the mental disabilities certificate, the primary disorder of persons with disabilities, and the challenges faced by such individuals during employment. Herein, three surveys- a corporate survey, an on-site survey, and a survey targeting persons with disabilities-were conducted. Analysis was conducted regarding the implementation (or lack thereof) and effectiveness of, as well as the degree of burden incurred by, accommodations and measures related to employment management for persons with mental disabilities, in addition to various other employment conditions.
Notably, while the implementation (or lack thereof) and effectiveness of, as well as the degree of burden incurred by, accommodations and measures taken, were partially related to the primary disorders of individuals, no general tendencies were observed. Almost no relationship was observed regarding the grades provided on the certificate. Conversely, issues related to employment for subjects were prevalent, while initiatives related to accommodations and measures taken at the corporate level had a facilitative effect on their corresponding implementation undertaken by businesses on behalf of subjects.
