As the stabilizers, citric, oxalic, dihydroxy maleic, reductic, thioglycolic, gallic, pyrogallic, kojic acids, thiourea, tannin, tea catechol, hydroquinone, quercetine, quercitrine, sodium chloride, magnesium chloride etc. were added to the solution of l-ascorbic acid. In these stabillizers reductic acid, thiourea and thioglycolic acid prevented somewhat the oxidation of l-ascorbic acid.
