Producing feed with high corn silage may be an effective method for stable dairy farming. This study examines the economic effect of feeding high corn silage rations by comparing farmers in a double cropping of corn area and a statistical survey on farm management. There are two farmers who fed corn silage at 36kgFM/cow/day and 30kgFM/cow/day, respectively. Inclusion of a higher amount of corn silage feed increased the net income of the farmers by 11.6% and 7.6%, respectively. This demonstrates the importance of corn production and feeding high corn silage rations for enhancing returns from dairy farming with abandoned farmland.
