Abstract

The objective of this study is to reveal factors of different development of Edaban-Kanri-Gata community farming, in which farming and profit sharing are done individually by members while accounting is integrated, by regions. It focuses on multiplying farming and supplying employment through comparative analysis of Ibaraki and Akita Prefectures. The main conclusion is as follows. The community farming in Ibaraki and Akita Prefectures are regulated by their respective policies conducted by local governments and necessity for supplying employment.
