Abstract
Gross anatomical examination was done on a total of 100 limbs of 50 cadavers of Macacus cyclopsis concerning the flexor muscles of the thigh. The following results were obtained.
The muscles of the thigh may be largely classified into the flexor group, adductor group and the extensor group. Of these, the flexor group include the M. biceps femoris, the M. semitendinosus and the M. semimembranosus each of which are supplied by the N. texores femoris that is a branch of the N. ischiadicus.
